Kiwanis Club of Rideau at the Gloucester Fair

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Rideau once again helped out in the Beer Tent at the Gloucester Fair, May 24 - 27th.  Although a fundraiser for our own club, this is also a chance to work with the Kiwanis Club of Orleans in a fun way.  Many thanks to the KC-O for this great opportunity to mix and mingle!

Kiwanis Music Festival

KCR Adopt a Charity news

Many thanks to all the great charities that applied to our new program!  After some very intense discussion, the successful charity was chosen - Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa.

What we learned - that making the right choice when giving money way is very difficult!  All the charities that applied had compelling causes and were deserving of funds.  We hope to see them re-apply next year as the program grows.

KCR rings some bells!

The Kiwanis Club of Rideau will once again volunteer to ring Salvation Army bells during the annual Kettle Campaign.  See us on December 7th and 14th at St. Laurent Shopping Centre...bring you spare cash!
