NEW Annual Adopt a Charity Program

Since 1955, The Kiwanis Club of Rideau (KCR) has been committed to serve the local community of Ottawa through Volunteer resources and action.  Recognizing the struggle that smaller, community-based (grassroot) charities experience in raising funds, recruiting Volunteers and delivering services, Rideau Kiwanis is looking to “adopt” a local charity for a year of service (October 15, 201 – September 30, 2012).  Adoption supports will include:

  • Financial Support (up to $5,000 depending on success of Club fundraising throughout the year)
  • Volunteer Resources
  • Publicity & Promotion
