The Kiwanis Club of Rideau (Ottawa) Literacy Program presented $1,000 worth of reading materials to the library at W.E. Gowling Public School in support of early literacy initiatives. One Grade Three student who attended the presentation said enthusiastically, "I hope I have time to read them all!" The Kiwanis Club of Rideau is also supporting early literacy programs at W.E. Gowling through a trained volunteer reader program.
