Daniel Macmillan inducted as a member

Daniel told the meeting that he was born in Cornwall on 15th July 1968. His father was Chinese and his mother was French. She remarried and that is how he came to have the surname Macmillan. He graduated from York University in 1988 after studying economics. He was employed by the federal public service and left them to join the Bank of Montreal. He next spent seven years with the Toronto Dominion Bank and worked on the takeover of Canada Trust. He returned to the Bank of Montreal and subsequently transferred to Bmo Nesbitt Burns as an Investment Advisor.


Amanda Liscumb Wins Rideau Kiwanis Community Service Award

Ottawa Our Nation’s Hometown a CD from Dominic D'Arcy is now available.

Dominic is often referred to as Ottawa’s Singing Policeman. Born in Sheenboro, Quebec, Dominic has lived in Ottawa since joining the Ottawa police force in 1965.
